IN FLUX, A NIGHT GALLERY | THURS, 11/7 | 6-10PM
Everything is in flux right now. Landscapes are shifting the city over revealing forgotten histories and new futures. It is a time of imagination, contemplation, and movements. And it is precisely at this moment when art and healing matter most.
IN FLUX, a Night Gallery, is a moment, a place, and a response located at an epicenter of movements: Lower Polk Street. It is a reconciliation between the old and the new; the migrant and the native populations of San Francisco. It is an interactive event in Fern Alley bridging generations, cultures, tastes, and perspectives produced by 14 Black Poppies, The Livable Environment and Open Show. It is not utopia; it is not reality. It is IN FLUX.
Working in community with each other, artists and healers will create an interactive alley of arts and healing directly engaging passersby in flux, in movement, in change. Anything is possible. Imagination required.
