Here is Gloria Alonzo's response:
"For me, the bottom line is: Without your health, not much else matters because a sound mind and body free of disease and pain are the foundation from which we blossom and grow. Human beings need good nutrition, exercise, relaxation, purpose and support, i.e. access to healthcare, education, housing, and work that is appreciated and useful. In the absence of these things, humans struggle to become the most complete, effective and joyful beings they can be and find themselves less able to participate in their own families, communities and the world. These are some reasons that healthcare matters to me."
Why does health matter to you?
