Well first off, I want to start by saying tonight was lovely. It reminded me of some scene out of an old wild wild west movie in a bar. People were playing guitars, some were singing, some were playing the piano, and again diffrent people with acoustic instrument were doing their thing.
Honestly, they were great. They were here representing he San Francisco wage coalition. And even in their songs the messages were in the lyrics.
This Radical Acoustic was a fundraiser for the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition. From what I learned, the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition actually advocates for San Fransicans to get a liveable wage, which they define as 12 dollars an hour. That is because the cost of living in the city is so high. In fact, they were partly responsible for San Francisco's minimum wage. We have the highest minimum wage in the country. And on their own time they like to get together to sing wonderful song about it.
They all have a wonderful sound and a clear messages about wages.
