Over the last year and a half, Kolmel and I have developed both a friendship and collegial relationship. Kolmel is a regular at the cafe at which I used to work, and we would chat about performance, art, community, organizing, production cycles, and such. It was always a good day when Kolmel came into the cafe.
Now, I have the opportunity to work with Kolmel on CAT'S Got Talent. As we chatted, I grew to admire Kolmel's perspective and work ethic. Kolmel has an amazing way of being on point, compassionate, and responsive. It's why I wanted Kolmel to be a teaching artist. It also works out that Kolmel is excellent at running production cycles.
So...Please meet Kolmel WithLove, the CAT'S Got Talent teaching artist for production cycles.
