This is part of my work that I truly and madly love: connecting people to deepen and widen perspective, practice, and community. Listening in to the conversation, I was struck by the distance between Ginger and Tanya. It was apparent and palpable even though I only heard one side of the conversation, Ginger's, as they spoke on the phone. And as the conversation continued, I heard in Ginger's words and tone a reflection on practice I previously haven't heard from him related to his art.
It is moments and conversations like these that inspire.
And now, Ginger, Tanya, and I get to share some of that inspiration with all of you on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Progressive Grounds Mission. Really, you do not want to miss this conversation. Even if you've seen Ginger's work before, you haven't heard him talk about his art and practice like this. It's a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity.
